Te Kotuku's Bush is a historical forest that has wonderful stories of the White Heron (Kotuku) and a sacred man called Kotuku, who also lived in that forest. It was taught through generations that the trees of Te Kotuku's bush were sacred and could not be touched, because if the branch was damaged it would bleed human blood.
This print is embellished in some areas by the artist, and is one of a limited edition of 6 copies. Original painting scanned at 1 to 1 scale and then printed on Hahnemuhle art paper and mounted on 3.5mm mount board.
